Are You ?
If you answered 'yes' then look no further for your homely accommodation in Devon.
Devon Homestays is a family-run business which started from an interest in finding suitable accommodation for students, professional working people and holiday makers. Many of the host families are well known to us, some for over 15 years, and are selected for providing a welcoming home-from-home for their guests. All of the families are personally inspected by us and, before you arrive in Devon, you will receive a full description and profile of your host family
You are assured of a quality service and prompt attention to welfare issues.
Why stay with a family?
Staying with a family has the convenience of home comforts and being treated as a member of your 'new' family. You may choose from a Cosy or Executive, the choice is yours. And you can choose from bed and breakfast, half board or full board. Minimum stay is one week, no limit on how long you stay!
How can I travel?
You can travel to your homestay by your own transport (car, motor bike etc.) or take the frequent train or bus service to Devon. If you require parking space, please indicate when booking.
Useful links
If required, your host family will meet you on arrival.
English lessons can be arranged, if required, in a private language school. Please indicate this when booking as we will select a family situated near a school, for your convenience. Please tell us your level of English so the appropriate lessons can be arranged. Prices will be advised when you have told us your specific language requirements.
How much will it cost?

Why come to Devon?
Devon is a place of contradictions, see what it has to offer . . .
Vibrant Cities & Ancient Villages
Exeter is a beautiful cathedral City with a quiet quayside for relaxing or starting your walk along the river and into the countryside down to some of the riverside pubs.
This is a great place to visit for shopping, eating out and visiting the historic cathedral right in the heart of the city centre. There are good rail links into Exeter and a frequent bus service as well.
Exeter Quay
This is a place of variety. Whether you are in need of some retail therapy or enjoy visiting ancient cities; Exeter has something to offer everyone.
There is a large covered shopping area as well as the older high street and side streets around the city. Take a look around all the corners though as you'll find plenty of hidden alley ways often missed by the frantic shopper.
Exeter at night is very lively and offers a wide variety for all tastes. There are nightclubs if you're feeling very energetic but because the city is quite large there are also very good restaurants catering for Italian, Indian and Oriental cuisine.
Exeter is a great place to visit or use as a base for a holiday.
Long Sandy Beaches & Rocky Granite Cliffs
A Short Walk to Dawlish for a Cream Tea!
There are some amazing views from the cliffs of Devon and some rewarding walks right by the sea.
Beautiful South Devon Coast
Experience some of the most beautiful coastal scenery you can find anywhere.
A Typical Family Home
A typical family home based in one of the South Devon seaside towns, many of which offer fantastic bases for coastal walks with stunning views.
