Payment procedure - outside the UK
Your payment, including bank charges as notified on your invoice, should be sent to the following bank in the UK.

Short-term booking (up to six weeks)
Full cost of accommodation is payable in advance.
Longer-term booking
20% deposit required with registration form. Six weeks payment becomes payable two weeks before arrival in your host family. During this time you will be asked to confirm your agreement to remain in the same homestay family. The remaining payment must be sent to Devon Homestays every four weeks in advance. After this, you will be asked to confirm your agreement to remain in the same homestay family. If the family agrees, the remaining payment is required to be sent to Devon Homestays every four weeks in advance.

Insurance
You are strongly advised to take out health and travel insurance before commencing your journey to Devon. No refund is given in respect of cancellation due to death or ill health of the client. Your belongings are not automatically insured against theft, loss or damage.
It is a condition of Devon Homestays that you agree to respect your Host Family's privacy and their belongings. All breakages and damages caused by you and/or anyone in your party must be paid for. You are therefore required to pay a deposit of 20% of the total cost to Devon Homestays which will be refunded on departure, subject to your Host Family's agreement. You must also adhere to your Host Family's conditions about bringing your friends into their home or about staying out late - they will discuss this with you personally.
